Reading, Grammar, and Art:
Now they're going to read about, "One of These Eggs is Fake," complete page four (again you do not need to print it), practice proper punctuation, and create a turtle.
Reading: Read the magazine. If the on level is too hard, your child can always try the easier level. After they're done reading, they should complete page 4.
Grammar: Play the game which will help them practice proper punctuation.
Art: Make a turtle. Click HERE for some ideas on how to create a turtle. Don't forget to send me a picture. Thank you!

Science
Now it's time to go on a virtual field trip to The Monterey Bay Aquarium to check out some free water and salt water habitats. The children can click on as many or as few animals as they want to choose their favorite animal from the website. Click on the picture to get started.
Writing
They need to write a paragraph with eight or more sentences about their favorite animal from the aquarium website. It MUST include, "The Word of the Week", devious. The definition, synonyms, and examples for, "The Word of the Week" can be found on the School Closure tab on the website. Suggestions to write about are what if the animal had superpowers, what would it be like to live on land, what would it be like if it had fingers and hands, what would it be like to talk to people, what it would be like to be invisible, etc...
