ANSWER: Because he wanted to see time fly.
I'll be back this afternoon with the answer.
Morning To-Do List (work on IXL)
Science We're on to our next habitat, Freshwater Habitats. Click on the picture to go to BrainPopJr. Don't forget to do the quizzes and a few of the other fun things at the bottom of the page. Here are the directions if the link isn't working: Go to www.brainpopjr.com The username and password are the same: MrsRopes2 Type FRESHWATER HABITATS into the search bar Solution and Mixtures We've also been learning about solutions and mixtures. I would like the kids to do the activity at the bottom of the FreshWater Habitats page on BrainPopJr as it shows them a mixture because the water and salt, in this case, can be separated. Art and Writing A mosaic animal. Create a freshwater animal using ANY type paper (I'd use construction paper) and glue, no scissors, tape, or crayons, NOTHING ELSE. I've included an example of what mosaic looks like. Write EIGHT sentences or more using this prompt, If their animal could talk, what would it say...Here are some examples of questions they could use, does he like his habitat? does he want to be a different color? is the food good? what does his habitat look like?, etc... Afternoon To-Do List (work on IXL) I think I may have gotten a little overzealous with their To-Do List this morning. Reading Send a short video of your child reading their favorite book to me on Dojo. Don't forget to have them write the book down for March is Reading Month. |
